Centre attracts high tech business
Consett Innovation Centre is well on the way to establishing the district as a centre for high technology businesses.
It is now home to companies such as BioToolomics Ltd, set up by Dr Chad Zhang, who develops bio-molecular products that promise major advantages for the pharmaceutical industry in the development and production of drugs. Fellow tenant and innovative electronics company Circuitree Ltd has developed a unique asset tracking device expected to be a market leader.
The companies chose the Centre for the quality accommodation and the unique business and technical support package available and both have attracted substantial investments to help develop their products.
